"I have done my best, but still struggle to create and sustain well relationships."

You are not alone🤍

Most of us do our best with what we know in relationships. The problem is that what we know is informed by a flood of opinions, mixed messages, and, at times, unhelpful models for how to do relationships well. Many couples report confusion and frustration around what it takes to establish and sustain well relationships. Relationship University's Relationship Readiness course can help. This flagship course is taught by a marriage and family therapist with a doctorate in counseling who has helped hundreds of clients and students skillfully navigate issues that get in the way of well relationships. Creating and sustaining well relationships does not have to be a mystery—there are learned skills and practices that actually help. Let our Relationship Readiness course and companion workbook guide you each step of the way.

Christina Davis

Dr. Christina Jones Davis is a licensed Marriage and Family therapist with over 15 years of experience counseling individuals, couples, and families. Hailing from a large Texas family, she has always reveled at the power of relationships. As a middle child, she has been relating since birth and as an adult, has had her share of well and less-well relationships. Before marriage and kids, she fell in love with the journey of cultivating healthy and meaningful relationships. “Look, I get it, relationships are complicated! They can both challenge and change us, destabilize and ground us, and aggravate and awaken us. It is for these reasons that I have devoted my career to helping, understanding, and improving relationships.” Dr. Christina, as affectionately called by her clients, holds a doctoral degree in counseling from Emory University and now as a faculty member provides education and training for hundreds of graduate students training to become therapists themselves. She is also the founder of Relationship University, an educational resource providing access to knowledge and tools to those who are ready to transform the ways they relate to themselves and others. Perhaps most importantly, Christina has been partnered with her husband Ryan for 12 plus years and is mother to their two amazingly wonderful children.

FAQ's

  • Q: I'm juggling a lot right now, how long will the course take?

A: We get it! The course is designed with those with full lives in mind. The course is self-paced, but it is recommended that students complete one 15 minute mini lesson a week and then use the workbook to deepen reflection, discussion, and wellness skills between lessons. So you can plan for total of about 1-1.5 hours a week, for 9 weeks.

  • Q: What if I have a question while taking the course?

A: Questions are welcomed! Use the discussion board within each lesson to ask every one of them. Dr. Christina responds weekly to all questions posted. As an added benefit, discussion boards enable you to view and learn from other's questions on the week's topic as well. Some of the best learning happens in a community of learners!

  • Can I take the course individually?

While the course is designed to be taken with a partner, it is of great value taken individually as well. If not currently partnered or your partner is unable to attend, the awareness, knowledge, and skills an individual gains through this course can significantly impact any relationship.

  • Q: What if I want more one-on-one support in addition to taking the course?

A: No problem! Dr. Christina offers customized coaching packages for more personalized attention. You may sign up at www.christinajonesdavis.com/relationship-coaching
